Module and Hook Inspector is a development and diagnostic tool that reveals exactly which module and hook is responsible for rendering any block displayed on your PrestaShop storefront. Rather than searching through module lists or template files, you can identify the source of any displayed element at a glance directly on the front end.
- Displays the hook name, module name, template file name, and the file that called it for each rendered block on the page
- Lists the paths to associated CSS and JS files, each shown as a clickable link
- Debug output is restricted to IP addresses whitelisted in the module configuration, so the information is invisible to regular visitors on live stores
- A keyboard shortcut (the ² key) toggles all info panels on or off, allowing you to browse the site without layout disruption caused by the overlaid debug blocks
- Can be disabled for the back office independently of the front office to prevent navigation issues in the admin panel
This module is intended for PrestaShop developers and theme designers who need to quickly trace which module is outputting a specific block, or identify the template and assets involved in a display issue. The IP-based access control makes it practical to leave installed on production stores during active development.
