This module integrates Mercado Pago — Latin America's leading payment platform — into PrestaShop stores, enabling merchants in Brazil and Argentina to accept local and international payments. It supports multiple checkout flows and payment methods tailored to each country's preferences, reducing cart abandonment and improving conversion rates for Latin American shoppers.

Key features include:

• Standard checkout: Accepts all Mercado Pago payment methods (credit cards, bar code payments, account money) with multiple window types including redirect, iframe, modal, and popup.
• Credit card customized checkout: A fully embedded, branded checkout experience for credit card payments that keeps customers on-site and reduces checkout steps.
• Ticket checkout: Supports country-specific offline payment methods such as Boleto in Brazil and RapiPago in Argentina, with an on-site flow and printable ticket link.
• Saved customer cards: Stores customer card details securely via the Mercado Pago API for faster repeat purchases.
• Discount coupons: Allows customers to apply Mercado Pago promotional discount coupons at checkout.

This module is suited for PrestaShop merchants targeting customers in Latin America who need to offer locally relevant payment methods.
