PAYMILL Payment Gateway integrates the PAYMILL payment service into your PrestaShop store, adding two checkout payment methods: credit card and direct debit. It is designed for merchants who need PCI DSS-compliant card processing without handling sensitive payment data directly on their servers.
- Broad card acceptance: Supports Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, American Express, and China Union Pay, plus Direct Debit (ELV).
- Fast Checkout option: When enabled, returning customers are not asked to re-enter their payment details — a tokenised reference is stored for a smoother repeat checkout experience.
- Improved payment form: Provides real-time visual feedback to customers as they enter their card details.
- Backend log: A dedicated log view in the shop administration lets you review payment events and diagnose issues without leaving the back office.
- Multilingual support: Ships with translations for German, English, Portuguese, Italian, French, and Spanish.
This module was developed by PAYMILL GmbH and targets store owners who had an active PAYMILL merchant account. Please note that this module is no longer actively maintained and PAYMILL services have since been discontinued — it is preserved here for reference and archival purposes only.
