Optional Identification Number

By default, PrestaShop can require customers to enter a tax or national identification number in their address forms when this field is enabled for a country. This module makes that field optional, so customers are not blocked from completing their address if they do not have or do not wish to provide an identification number.

• Makes the identification number field (DNI, NIF, NIE, IČO, and similar) non-mandatory in customer address forms
• Removes the mandatory asterisk next to the field using CSS
• Works in conjunction with the existing PrestaShop Localization → Countries settings, where the DNI field must first be activated and added to the address format

This module is useful for merchants who operate in countries where an identification number field is part of the address format but where providing that number should remain at the customer's discretion. Minor CSS adjustments may be needed depending on the active theme to ensure the field displays correctly.
