PrestaCollege

PrestaCollege is a PrestaShop module designed specifically for use in school and university classrooms where students are learning e-commerce by working with live PrestaShop installations. Developed as part of the Erasmus+-funded Fit for E-Commerce project, it provides educators with tools to distribute consistent shop states to students and populate shops with realistic-looking test data.

• Export and import database and file snapshots of a shop, which can be distributed to multiple student environments for a consistent starting point
• Upload snapshots from a remote URL, from your local PC, or download existing snapshots from the server
• Delete snapshots directly through the web interface
• Generate fake data including customers, guest visits, and orphaned carts to simulate realistic shop activity

PrestaCollege is purpose-built for educators and trainers running PrestaShop-based e-commerce courses. It is not intended for use on live production stores. Its snapshot and fake-data capabilities make it straightforward to reset student shops to a defined state between class sessions, or to pre-populate a shop for training exercises.
