Retailers Map

Retailers Map is a PrestaShop module that allows brands and ecommerce stores to display their physical retail locations on an interactive map. It uses the open-source Leaflet mapping library along with free tile providers, avoiding the need for paid mapping APIs such as Google Maps.

• Interactive map display: Shows all physical retailer locations on a Leaflet-powered map using free tile providers.
• Back office retailer management: Retailer information is managed in the PrestaShop back office and stored in the database.
• Custom map markers: Supports custom markers for individual retailers or groups of retailers.
• Browser geolocation: Uses the browser's geolocation API to identify and highlight the closest retailer to the visitor.
• Location search bar: Includes a search bar for visitors to look up existing retailer locations.

This module is well suited to brands or multichannel retailers who want to help online customers find nearby physical stores without incurring mapping API costs. Note that at the time of its initial release the module was marked as under active development, with some features such as Leaflet-providers integration, custom marker loading, and settings customisation still pending implementation. It is released under the MIT license and was developed by Darío Scattolini.
