Prestashop TinyMCE Extend

TinyMCE Extend for PrestaShop is a developer-oriented module that provides code snippets and configuration enhancements for the TinyMCE rich text editor used in the PrestaShop back office. It addresses two common customization needs: toggling the editor background color for easier low-light editing, and expanding the editor's default toolset with additional plugins and Material Design icons.

• Adds a fixed-position button in the back office that switches all active TinyMCE editor instances to a black background, with a close button to dismiss it — loaded via the displayBackOfficeHeader hook
• Provides an extended TinyMCE configuration that enables more content editing features, applied by updating the back-office TinyMCE JavaScript configuration file
• Replaces the default TinyMCE toolbar icons with Material icons — including bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, blockquote, link, alignment controls, bulleted and numbered lists, image, table, media, attachment, and code — for a more consistent back-office visual style

This module targets developers and technically confident store administrators who want to customize the PrestaShop back-office text editor.
