The SMS.ir SMS Notifications module integrates PrestaShop with the SMS.ir messaging platform, enabling store owners to send automated SMS alerts to both customers and administrators for key store events. It removes the need for manual outreach by triggering messages automatically when accounts are created, orders are placed, or order statuses change.

• Sends automated SMS to customers when a new account is created, when a new order is placed, and when an order status is updated
• Notifies the store administrator via SMS when a new user registers or a new order is received
• Supports manual bulk messaging: send SMS to a specific customer, to all customers, or to all contacts in the SMS.ir customer club
• Configurable settings include the SMS.ir web service URL, API key, security code, sender number, store manager phone number, and the option to send through the customer club

This module is designed for merchants whose customer base primarily uses SMS for communication, particularly those operating stores targeting markets where SMS.ir is the established messaging provider. Note that this module is no longer actively maintained; store owners should verify compatibility with their current PrestaShop installation before use.
