This module enables food-related PrestaShop stores to assign and display allergen information on product pages in compliance with EU Regulation 1169/2011 on food labeling. European law requires that customers be informed about the presence of 14 mandatory allergens in food products, and this module provides the tools to manage and display that information accurately and visibly across a multilingual storefront.

  • Assign one or more of the 14 mandatory EU allergens to individual products via a dedicated section in the back office product form, integrated using the Symfony product form modifier
  • Display allergen icons and names on the front-end product page automatically upon saving
  • Automatic allergen inheritance for pack (bundle) products — allergens are derived from included products and cannot be edited manually
  • Full multilingual support with translations for 17 EU languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Swedish, Greek, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Slovak, and Slovenian
  • Optional complete data removal on module uninstall

This module is specifically designed for PrestaShop merchants selling food products in the European Union who need to comply with mandatory allergen disclosure requirements. It is well suited for multilingual stores operating across multiple EU member states, offering broad language coverage out of the box and seamless integration with the standard product editing workflow.
