This module integrates Plausible Analytics into your PrestaShop store, allowing you to collect privacy-friendly visitor statistics without relying on heavyweight tracking scripts. It injects the Plausible JavaScript snippet into your storefront and surfaces your analytics dashboard directly inside the PrestaShop admin under Statistics > Plausible via a configurable shared link.

  • Goal event tracking: Track key customer actions including category page views, product page views, contact form submissions, account registrations, cart views, each checkout step, and completed orders — with fully configurable goal names per event.
  • Revenue tracking: Optionally send order revenue alongside the order goal event (requires a Plausible business plan subscription).
  • Custom instance support: Point the module at your own self-hosted Plausible instance by setting a custom instance URL instead of the default plausible.io endpoint.
  • Custom goal extensibility: Call the native plausible() JavaScript method from any template or script to fire additional custom goal events beyond the built-in set.

This module is a good fit for PrestaShop merchants who want actionable eCommerce analytics — funnel tracking, conversion goals, and revenue data — while keeping visitor data off third-party ad networks. It is particularly suited to stores operating under strict privacy requirements or those seeking a lightweight alternative to cookie-heavy analytics platforms.
