Abandoned Cart Admin Email Notifier

Abandoned Cart Admin Email Notifier monitors your PrestaShop store for shopping carts left behind by registered customers and automatically sends detailed email alerts to store administrators. It helps store owners identify lost sales opportunities and follow up with customers who did not complete their purchase.

Configurable abandonment detection: Scans for carts that have been inactive beyond a configurable time threshold (default 24 hours). Only carts belonging to registered customers are tracked — guest carts and carts already converted to orders are excluded. Each abandoned cart triggers only one notification, preventing duplicate alerts.

Detailed email notifications: Alerts are sent in plain text format for maximum email client compatibility and include the customer's ID, name, and email address; cart ID, abandonment date, and total value; and the full product list with quantities. Multiple recipient addresses can be configured using a comma-separated list.

Administration panel: The back office configuration page provides a notification log showing the last 50 sent notifications with cart ID, customer details, send date, and delivery status. An enable/disable toggle lets you pause notifications without uninstalling the module.

Cron-based scanning with security: Cart scanning runs via a cron job using a secure, token-protected URL generated at installation. The module processes up to 100 carts per execution and uses PrestaShop's built-in database methods for SQL injection protection.

This module is intended for small to medium PrestaShop store owners who want a lightweight, self-hosted way to receive internal alerts about abandoned carts without investing in a full marketing automation platform. Server-level cron job access and a working SMTP configuration are required.
