Product Comment Filter Module

The Product Comment Filter module automatically detects and censors inappropriate or offensive language in customer product reviews on your PrestaShop store. When a review is displayed, any configured bad words are replaced with a chosen masking character, keeping your product pages professional and free from profanity without requiring manual moderation of every submission.

• Configurable word list: Enter as many prohibited words as needed directly from the back office; both the comment content and comment title are filtered.
• Multiple masking formats: Choose how censored words appear — retain only the first letter (e.g. "d**"), remove all letters (e.g. "***"), or retain the first and last letter (e.g. "d*g").
• Custom replacement character: Select from asterisk (*), dollar sign ($), question mark (?), exclamation mark (!), hyphen (-), hash (#), or tilde (~) as the masking symbol.
• Multi-store and multi-language compatible: Works across multiple storefronts and supports multilingual shops.

This module is a practical tool for any store owner who wants to maintain a clean, trustworthy product page environment without implementing a full comment moderation workflow. It is especially useful for shops with high review volumes where manual screening of every submission is not feasible.
